A Special Message from Cheryl to all her Fans

May 22, 2009

To all who are dear to me,

I’ve learned that heartbreak does not only exist in the context of loving someone; it is also an emotion that results when someone you care for deeply falls short of something so well deserved.

Gilles Marini, the actor, is now Gilles Marini, Master of Ballroom Dancing in my eyes.
Like you, I have watched him transcend his acting skills to professional-level dancing skills over the past 11 weeks. Gilles was a devoted student and I am the honored coach/partner. In the time we spent together, I feel like I became a student of Gilles.  He became my teacher and showed me genuine friendship and the importance of taking the time to relish each day with our loved ones.

As another Dancing with the Stars Season closes, I take with me your kind words, endless support and encouragement for Gilles and me.  It is all the kindness and support that keeps me dancing and I hope that you have found a way to Dance for Life!

Love you all,

Cheryl

She added: "I do expect that the dance pod will be more heavily participated because there will be more walkers than the Embarcadero and Bayview." '
