Ever since Cheryl Burke discovered dance at a young age, she has made movement and rhythm part of her life. When she first opened her own studio in 2008, it was with the dream of sharing her love of dance and all its benefits with the world. All the management at Cheryl Burke Dance is part of making that dream a reality, and to help our guests experience the excitement, fitness, and fun that only dance can provide. Cheryl Burke



Emmy nominee and Dancing with the Stars champion, Cheryl Burke's confident flair and unique choreography has won her the hearts of fans and dance enthusiasts across the U.S. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Cheryl began her ballroom dance journey at the tender age of 11. Two years later she started competing in Ballroom Dance Championships. Cheryl is a principal dancer on the hit ABC television show Dancing with the Stars. When she isn't training celebrities for the competition, she teaches at the Cheryl Burke Dance studios. Cheryl is fluent in all standard Ballroom and Latin dances and enjoys creating new and exciting dance choreography for her students.
Sherri Burke



After a successful career in business development, Sherri dedicated herself to opening a dance studio with her daughter Cheryl. A dream born of a shared passion between mother and daughter, Cheryl Burke Dance is a place where dancers and non-dancers alike can stay fit while having fun. As an amateur competitive ballroom dancer, Sherri understands the dramatic ways that dance can enrich lives. She has also had a lifelong ambition to help others thrive. In 1984, Sherri founded Nurse Providers after recognizing a need for temp nurses and caregivers to look after sick and elderly hospital patients. Through organic growth and acquisitions, she built the company into one of the largest home healthcare providers in Northern California. At Cheryl Burke Dance, Sherri strives to build an environment where people can discover their true joys. She is proud to join her daughter in helping students discover a passion for dance and fitness that lasts a lifetime.
Craig Lynch



Music has been an integral part of Craig's life since he began piano lessons at the age of nine. He graduated from Bowling Green State U. with a BA in Music Theory and Composition in 1987. Moving to California, Craig began what became a two decade long career in the ballroom dance industry. Beginning in 1989 as Office Manager of Starlite Ballroom, he became Operations Manager in 1992. In 2001, Craig took on the additional role of New Student Supervisor, and became owner of Starlite Dance Club in 2003. In 2007, Craig co-founded and developed a successful children's ballroom dance program with Shirley Veloro. As Director of Operations and co-owner Craig finds great joy in watching dance make a difference in people's lives. The great pleasure of his career is to observe both teachers and students having success at his studio, which is a privledge he gets to experience every day. Outside of his busy life at the studio, Craig enjoys teaching and playing the piano.
Lindsay MorrisLindsay Morris



Lindsay began dancing at the age of 5 and has extensive training in Ballet, Jazz and Lyrical. In 2001, she began teaching ballroom, and has competed professionally in the American Smooth and Rhythm Styles. Lindsay is professionally certified in American Smooth, American Rhythm and Club Style dances. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and International Marketing from University of the Pacific. Lindsay is currently the owner and master teacher of the Montage Ballroom Teachers Academy at Cheryl Burke Dance in Mountain View, CA.
Tarn Daly



Tarn began dancing at the age of seven, developing her craft in London under some of the world's top coaches. She quickly became a world-recognized dancer, and has been invited to compete and coach around the world, winning such prestigious titles as Universal International Latin Champion. During her travels, Tarn decided to make her permanent home in the US, and has since made her living as a successful Pro/Am teacher, professional competitor, coach, judge, and now studio owner of Cheryl Burke Dance in Laguna Niguel. Tarn's aim is to provide a professional and fun learning experience for everyone, and her years of instructing dancers of all levels give her the experience to help any dancer fulfill their dreams.
